I paint with oil and my process goes like this. First I find a photo that inspires me to interpret it into a painting. Next I do a detailed drawing of the photo because I love to draw and this step helps me to get a feeling for how I want to approach the painting. Finally, I just jump in painting with palette knives. I like color, texture and welcome surprises along the way. |
